eHealth ERA participated in ICT for Bio-Medical Sciences conference
21 – 23 November 2006, Helsinki, Finland
The eHealth ERA project participated in the concertation meetings at the ICT for BIO-Medical Sciences conference in Brussels, Belgium, on 29-30 June 2006. The conference was organised by the European Commission DG Information Society and Media and DG Research and with the support of three roadmapping projects of DG INFSO (SYMBIOMATICS, STEP & SHARE). It focused on topics that lie at the crossroads of ICT research and biomedical sciences research:
- Multilevel modelling and simulation of human physiology and disease related processes
- Biomedical informatics
- Biomedical imaging
- Systems Biology: system approaches to integrate biological data, and to understand and model biological processes
- Healthgrid – Grid based health information infrastructure and applications
- Bio-inspired Information and Communication Technologies
